getting into a bar fight was his version of a fun night. he wasn't going to lie about that. luckily, the other man was the one that was kicked out and not him. so he took his seat next to a rather attractive guy, glancing over at him. "can i buy you a drink?" there were some perks aside from not being kicked out that came to being in the biker gang. drinks were almost always on the house since this was the place they normally hung out with. not that the handsome man had to know that. "i'm cormanc by the way." he placed the ice back on his left hand and extended his right hand to shake the other's.

Being out in the elements was something that he deeply relished, a get away of sorts, and he wanted to teach his son to have similar values. However, as the hours drew on, and they went from nature hiking to setting up camp, more of those thoughts started creeping in. The ones that alerted Cormac that his intentions weren't always honorable; that maybe he'd wanted to get his son alone and----------------- it was positively filthy, so honestly, he didn't talk to or indulge the boy much whilst they were adventuring. His gaze was always cut short, his words brisk and clipped. "I can tell you've truly never done this before." He means camping, of course.

⋆ ⭒ ˚ . ⋆ his  office  was  much  quieter  than  normal,  except  for  the  hum  of  the  city  outside  and  the  sound  of  cormac's  pen  tapping  against  his  desk.  he'd  been  staring  at  the  same  contract  for  fifteen  minutes,  pretending  to  read,  but  very  thought  kept  circling  back  to  the  engagement---and  for  some  reason,  his  assistant.  the  distance  between  the  two  felt  heavier  than  normal,  and  he  knew  that  something  was  off.  "you've  been...  distant,"  he  finally  broke  the  silence,  voice  softer  than  usual.  he  didn't  look  up  right  away,  instead  kept  his  eyes  on  the  paperwork  for  a  while.  "if  this  is  about  the  engagement,  you  should've  heard  it  from  me.  i  didn't  mean  for  you  to  find  out  the  way  you  did." / @aconites
