So, just a warning, I'm probably not the best person to ask since I'm not that much knowledgeable about DC either. I never read any comics, sadly, and I don't plan to.

However! I do have some good starting places to offer.

First of, the Webtoon comic 'Batman: Wayne Family Adventures'. As far as I know, it's not an official DC comic (correct me if I'm wrong), but it features all sorts of Batfamily shenanigans, and it's really cute, so you can try that.

Then, the animated movie 'Son of Batman' has Damian's origin story and quite a few of his interactions with Bruce, Dick, Alfred, and Talia, so that can give you somewhat of an idea.

The whole animated series of 'Young Justice' are good, I loved it, although there's not much Batfam there, but they happen once or twice as far as I remember. It's still good to give you a general idea of a bunch of DC characters.

The animated series 'Harley Quinn' are not my favorite, but I loved the first season. It does show Batman from a, well, not a very flattering angle, but, hey, Harley and Pamela are cool.

Other than that, the shows 'Flash' and 'Arrow' are fun to watch, but they are centered about different superheroes, respectively.

The movie 'Justice League' is, arguably, not a good place to start, per se, but that was the first ever thing I watched with DC characters in it, and it did give me a good idea about them, so there's that.

Oh, how could I forget, the animated series 'My Adventures With Superman' is absolutely awesome! I didn't like any other movies, animated or not, that featured Superman (sue me), but that one was fantastic, I loved it.

Aside from that, I'd say just read whatever fanfiction sparks your interest and Google anything that looks weird or requires context. That's how I found out about Bruce getting lost in the timestream, lol

I'm sorry that you got a pretty fu**ing rude ask but I'm glad I got to read your thoughts. But hey if they come back just point them my way, I'm openly trans and like rewriting (slowly) HP to make sense (and sneaking in LGBTQ themes)

There aren’t any real concerns with it more than there would be with other toy parts, if your bird has a tendency to eat it then it should be used under supervision or not at all but if they just rip it up (as most birds would) it doesn’t need to be supervised.  Cork Oak is actually relatively safe for them to eat if it were to happen by accident, they have a strong tolerance to the tannins and being that it’s super soft you don’t have to worry about it damaging anything or splintering and it doesn’t compact like fabrics, it’s probably one of the safer options for things they could accidentally end up eating!
