The Congregation makes a point to be a humanity first organization, even if they sometimes allow extraterrestrial members. Attempting to shoot it was proven pointless as the Entity would mimicks the speed of the bullet it self an use it to try to attack them with a burst of speed or, in some cases, simply dodge the bullet for its own sake.

Agent Gomez and Agent Mika had to travel in slow motion for 5 hours until they were able to meet up with Abe 1 for sopport in the LZ.
