Void Walkers,

Lower-end void beings are usually human or humanoid anomalies recruited into the void, their bodies showing markings of a black liquid-like substance. 

Usually they manifest within their old shell [human/humanoid body].

Said substance is viscous (NEVM). Commonly in later stages you find lines of purple energy flowing through them (EVM). Voice distortions are also rather common from infection of the vocal cords with NEVM.

EVM = Energized Void Matter 

NEVM = None Energized Void Matter

Standard Appearances:

Void matter spreads as a result of damage dealt to the body. This VM conforms to fill any holes, cuts, tears, or other damages.

They will look almost fully human until Stage 3.

This does mean outside of the rare void scarring (a reaction where a scar has some level of deep emotional connection to said person, making it form the local void matter into a crystalline structure). These wounds do not heal and tend to emit a faint purple glow and usually are surrounded by the standard black, non-energized void matter.

These are also sometimes called "true scars" or "memory scars"; they usually have some deeper meaning to the Voidspawn, thus making them often unwilling to discuss them with others.

Conversion,

One only joins the Void willingly; this is one of the few rules everyone in the Void follows. This means everyone who is currently a member of Void chose this path at some point. Order 6 is the one who handles recruitment often, hand in hand with Orders 2 and 5. The order of 6 are usually in charge of training new people, so it makes sense they also deal with sorting out new people. The intel for who would make a solid recruitment candidate is often handled by the Order of 5 and sometimes by a certain agent of the Order of 0. While all paperwork and logging of the new people are sorted out by the order of 2. The agents of the order of 5 or 6 will usually be the ones contacting potential recruits.

Important to note is that once you join the Void, there is no way out. It’s a one-way trip, and there is no way back to being human; this is why. Joining the void will result in the loss and consumption of the person's soul. During the so-called 6 stages of ascension, your soul is fully dissolved and turned into a void spore.

Void Spores/Crystals/Souls

The new void crystal grows inside the existential layer of your soul. The void crystal, no matter how small, anchors the soul to the material realm and the void. Thus, the soul does not expire or move on, allowing it to re-enter its own body, even if only with a little help. This crystal will grow slowly until the soul bursts in stage 6. 

Through the later stages of their existence within the void, this crystal will only grow as they rank up. At some point it's no longer able to reside within their old body but instead exists about the time they become a part and is moved to the inner sanctum of the void.

This indeed leads to the human form of higher-ranking void beings often not 100% resembling their real personality, as their soul and mind have been disconnected for a while. 

Known abilities: 

line, reanimating their own body, and basic soul manipulation This means they are in fact able to interact with souls, be it removing them, touching them, or even helping them move their bodies. Respawning in a location of comfort or related to their duty (this means they seem to create a new body out of nowhere in said location).

They also manifest a resistance up to a full-on immunity to soul manipulation, but it varies from person to person and especially from rank to rank how much it is able to fend off. 

Aycolites simply exist as the step between human/creature and void beings. They are meant to work towards ascension, which means they are expected to die plenty of times. As the Void crystal grows with every time the body expires and the soul comes into contact with the Void itself. 

They are expected to reach the stage of hybrids and to be sorted into an order. Stages of Ascension 1: 

Stage 1, “a grain of sand”: A tiny piece of void grows inside the person's soul. They show no physical signs of being a void spawn at this stage. It’s basically impossible to tell they are void unless you have a look at their souls.

Stage 2: “Death Spins the Wheel“ They have died more than once at this stage, and if one of those deaths is notable, they may even gain a deathmark. It is still almost impossible to see a difference between the human and the void. Stage 3, “The Start of the End”: Void matter begins to show up across the person from past deaths or injuries, usually as black spots with purple glowing veins/lines or other things. These are just temporary; they are the simple result of the human body not being able to handle voids' innate existence well. What has been said in the Appearance segment applies... Purple eyes are also now a lot more common. Exhaustion stops being a factor at this stage.

I do wonder, would people be interested in me digging out the past of some of these ... midly unhinged characters?

And somehow of those 63%, I cover over 50%, getting some payback for the Titanic. HAHA, sorry, that joke was in poor taste. IDK where I was going with this; I just got bored and felt like messing about. So for the trouble I'll cause you, Watchpoint, but I am just really damn bored these days. Maybe I should go for a walk, a very enthusiastic walk.

Many posts were made, and many kinds and many less polite words were said. What will be next, I do intend to continue to void... but with a few changes.

If you need a free source of trauma, issues, hell, even just a problem. I am more than glad to let void be the villains I am certain some of them want to be.

Interactions with new people, unless requested or started from their side, will pretty much be turned to 0. As much as I would love to spread the chaos. I feel I should slow it down for the foreseeable future.

I will still be tossing out lore now and again, but I will limit myself quite a bit more. Warning of the OOC nature will be given out before I even consider letting this blog spread more chaos again.

I plan to fix most of the complaints people had. Due to the nature of the void itself, pissing off some people will not be avoidable. Yet I plan to keep the number as low as possible.

Those people who would like to deal with this mess in character... idk just send an ask or something. I will make sure to pester your character, lol.

All in all, I don't quite know if I am glad to be back, but I am back, so I guess that's everyone's problem now, including mine.

Let's see if I can avoid the mistakes of the past.
