[The shard's general info sheet Part 1/4]
==============================
Served in the SCP Foundation for around 15 years, 9 of those in MTF Alpha-1 and 2 years as its commander.
He was part of the universe that would cause the void's awakening.
After being betrayed by the council, in an attempt to buy time. Which he hardly was bothered by... What made him join was seeing the council screw this chance up and do nothing but hide and save themselves, achieving nothing but delaying the end.
Dedicated, humorless, and too strict for most outside of the order of 1 to handle. He can acknowledge skill or competence, but outside of that, he isn't exactly fun to be around. Lives and dies by "the ends justify the means."
He is also a quite polite loser at games and takes losses with a lot more grace than most. The kind of person to still say GG after every loss or win and mean it.
Outside of games and downtime, he is unfortunately just a strict rules lawyer with a bit of an ego.
He has some kind of longstanding grudge against the O5 council and those still loyal to them.
Doesn't like the shards of 5 and 7
He likes the shard of it, as he is likely the only (now ex) O5 to live up to his standards.

Original name: [EXPUNGED] Wellson
His career inside the foundation was a strange one, starting out in general security and being moved to research for a while due to a talent in that field. He was transferred over to an administrative task rather quickly, having shown clear skill in that field. Following that transfer, he made his way up to the rank of Site Advisor. This certainly was helped by him having served in almost every branch of the foundation short of external affairs. He worked hard until one day the promotion came, and the stress began. He had a knack for numbers and running systems; corruption, politics, and power games really weren't his thing. Thus, he suffered in the council. But like everything else in his life, he would simply work hard and improve at politics. That he would until one fateful day of meeting some nobody operative who was captured by MTF, who would point out some flaws inside the site security. Which started a downward spiral of him finding out how truly dysfunctional the foundation was. He would not quit, though... until forced to.
The betrayal of 1 council member during the "Fischer" incident was the straw that broke the camel's back when the future core approached him with a deal. He took it. He always hated the intrigues of the council and foundation. Corruption and nepotism felt like a waste of time to him as well as hurting the functionality of any organization. So when he joined the Void, it was to make a better system. To build a true meritocracy where your efforts, skills, common sense, and talent would be valued far more than clout or connections.
The man barely talks outside of meetings, with humor as dry as the desert. He is a little too stuck inside rules and way too much of a workaholic to interact with many people. But he still enjoys spreadsheet games, even if he does that in the job most of the time. Many would find it boring and scary, though it is said that you get to play any type of strategy game with him (when he rarely takes a break). He is both terrifyingly good at them and remarkably a lot more personable and communicative.
Barely talks with any of the shards, but he is on good terms with his own order.
He enjoys the company of the Shard of 1 and the Shard of 12.
as well as being one of the few Shards to have worked directly with the core at some point. So those 2 are on friendly terms as well.
He also has a strangely high [for his standard of what he thinks of normal humans] opinion of one Dr. Underwood and Dr. Providence.

Original names: Alexander Carston Whitefaun [jokingly called "Alex Doe" by a lot of his old colleagues]
Alexander has a difficult life, born somewhere in Europe (to this day only the core knows, and I am sure he won't talk). Lost both parents at a young age, traveling from foster home to foster home. Ending up in the US in a string of accidents and unexpected situations, which frankly just added to his rather unbelievable life. He found himself, a poor kid with no real future and a body that was physically rather capable. So he would find himself in a criminal organization; by sheer coincidence, this one was a cover for a chaos insurgency cell. This is how he became. Sigma-class personnel (conscripts/cannon fodder). His first deployment killed his whole group, but he made it. The same went for the 2 and third. He caught the eye of the local cell leaders, who felt it was about time to bring this talented young man into his ranks. He would have constant impressive showings during his short time as alpha-class personnel and beyond. He would manage, in the span of 2 years, to earn himself a reputation for being a monster of a combatant no single MTF operative would want to fight one-on-one. Once he got himself promoted to Beta and managed to get his hands on proper gear, his rise to fame was inevitable. The most notable case in his earlier career was his solo termination of a whole platoon of Nu-7. This ambush would save the life of a rather unremarkable foundation deserter who would join Ci shortly after. He would be promoted to Gamma shortly after and, with the help of these rather unremarkable operatives, reach the rank of Delta command. This would be followed by the man he recused giving him the nickname he uses to this day: "militant." He would achieve many unreasonable things during his career, including holding the whole council hostage with 4 fellow operatives. A knife fight against Able, which would lead to a standstill and Able simply choosing to attack someone else. As well as threatening his way into an armory while literally half dead and out of ammo. But when that nobody came back from the dead, life took another very interesting turn.
He had served more than half his life along with the man who would become the core; what reason did he have not to follow him once more? Besides, there were more O5s and Clefs to kill; the fun was just getting started. He did give the man one condition, though: all of his operatives could join. It was accepted, obviously.
Loyal to a fault, even though he doesn't speak, many find him pleasant to be around, as he has a way of simply projecting intent into people's heads. He always felt like the big responsible brother of his order rather than their boss. Kind to those he cares about and almost always reasonable. His rare hatred of Clef is unique and⌠usually not questioned. It is assumed that Clef's poor treatments of his kids cause this hate, or that is just another sign of "the foundation." We may never truly know. But he does know that he sticks his neck out for his fellow CI, even those not in VOID, more often than not. This does explain why the order of 3 is about 40% Ci.
As said before, his people (order of 3) love him.
The other shards find him OK at worst and likeable at best.
The core still does view him as an old friend even if they rarely talk.
He even gets along with the shard of 2, as both seem to agree about how much the O5 sucks, not holding his old position against him.
He is particularly fond of one of Dead Man's adopted kids, inviting her to his order due to constant showings of combat prowes.[Viktoria]
Dr. Squired, though he may not like him, has caught his eye in a report or two.
He does think a certain Agent Aurora would fit the Order of 3 quite well, even if she isn't Ci.
I GOT TO MAKE 4 MORE OF THESE FUUUUCK
Side note: These are based on the backstories of real people who used to play these characters in RP servers.
In a way more or less immortalized in void, for better or worse.
