No bc straight up if I were in Lamb's shoes and I met this baby vamp who's malnutritioned and can't even control his fangs, hanging out with a group of people that believe our kind are fundamentally evil?? of course I'd try to kill his bf and convince him to run away with me

Yesterday my mom told me she read Interview With the Vampire as a teen around when it 1st came out, and she didn't like it (partially) bc she realized they were gay, and she wanted Lestat to be straight so she could imagine dating him lmao

I think the thing abt Lamb is that he's exactly the type of person I needed when I was in a similar state as Baz. When I was full of angst and terrified of what I was, meeting an older person who was like me, and seeing them not only survive but thrive in their own community, it would have been so eye-opening. But I also think it would have been terrifying, and I think that's where Baz is coming from.
