“I’ve never really considered the type of legacy I’d want to leave behind. When you grow up in Alternia, there’s some near future planning but plenty of immediate action and living in the moment. There’s just no time for long term and such, so I never saw the point in overthinking what the world would be like without me on it.
But if I had to give it some thought then being able to make a difference, whether here or on my home planet, would be great. Even if it feels like a pipe dream, especially when Alternia is concerned.”

Marvus likes to consider himself someone who has a good memory, and the little artist seems mighty familiar. He’d been wandering the mermaid cove mall whilst enjoying his day off, and somehow managed to lose his bodyguard. Humans are so flimsy in terms of speed, and it was rather easy for the clown to give that poor man the slip just by quickening his pace. Though he could hear some murmurs here and there, either due to others recognising him or perhaps because his attire was still rather scandalous even when it was infinitely more relaxed than the usual, the purpleblood pays them no mind as he advances towards the cerulean’s improvised exhibition.

Ogata basically thinks that everyone is terrible (a bit of denial here i think), at the root of it all rotten so no. They’re just denying what they are or embracing it. It’s a matter of circumstances - if your life is happy then you must be in a good place etc.
Does your muse believe in free will? Do they believe that people are mostly free?
There are things that he thinks tie people down so yes but you need to free yourself from all that to be truly free - type of thing.... Basically just “do what you want” sort of thing?
