guys? what does this remind you of?

and not to mention that it's *talkie*

[this is a poem I wrote whilst listening to J’san’s ‘in time’, it really inspired me. I hope you can listen to the song and resonate with my words]

A soft red flow emitted in my dark room,

The figure of my being comfortably residing in my bed.

 Eyes trailed and stuck to the stars dotting the early morning sky.

The soft sound of the piano suddenly encompassing the background of my thoughts.

 My eyes were hypnotised by the beauteous scenes of each star gently glowing in the sky,

Like God’s personal treasure chest.

 My mind was overtaken by bar chimes shimmering in time with the sky diamonds.

Inhaling from a joint lazily hung between my fingers, the smoke slunk into my lungs,

And ascended my mind out of my body.

An exposed soul shimmering into the astral plain guided by those sweet chimes.

 Soft saxophone hummed and lightly groaned in my eardrums.

Turning my attention away from my intoxicated mind and instead to

Melody.  Sweet and calming.

He gently embraced poesy whilst dancing in the ballroom of my mind.

The two swayed and span through the crevices of my psyche occasionally stopping to glance

Nosily at the memories and the other figures that clamoured to be heard in my peaceful state.

 August wind tentatively flew in my open window dispersing remaining smoke

Gently holding my head and kissing my face: forehead, cheeks, nose, lips.

Her cold touch kept my mind alert yet content against her odd frosty embrace.

The high of my mind making each of my sense strikingly sharper beneath her fingers.

 By now the saxophone had more confidence in its performance,

A strong rich melody ebbed and flowed from the white plastic in my ears

to the inner corners of my mind,

Attempting to grasp my focus despite my drowsy nonchalant state.

 And it faded into nothing.

The music had stopped.

The lights in the ballroom dimmed and guests dispersed.

Darkness sucked the rest of the light that remained.

 Two figures remained in the shadows,

Glowing eyes glued to my form.

Reminding me of their presence and what they can do to me.

Depression. Anxiety.

They want me to remember how easily they can break me

Even in my happiest moments.

 I don’t know if Melody will reunite with poesy,

Or if poesy will make another visit to my mind.

 But looking up at the night sky and

Seeing the twinkling stars eased my quiet mind,

For now, the glow of the stars echoed sweet Melody.

So RWBY instantly became known as one of the most popular anime series across the US and even Japan (the web series is currently getting an OFFICIAL Japanese Dub with an all-star cast) and is always available - FOR FREE - on both Rooster Teeth’s official website and their official YouTube Channel, complete with their logo emblazoned on a noticeable chunk of each thumbnail.

So as I was looking for the Japanese fan-dub, I found out that this person started posting the series on their own channel, and not even in order, nor in the same dazzling high quality.

I just don’t understand. Are they doing this for to get views? Are they trying to get some sort of credit? Why do this? Even the description of the videos are taken from someone else:

“ (April 26, 2014) RWBY Episode1: Ruby Rose [Japanese Dub] was highly acclaimed by Monty Oum! We really appreciate Monty Oum for his thoughtful comment. “
