Hi! I love your blog so much! I have a question that you may (or may not) know the answer to. What happens to nannies after the kids get old enough not to need them? Do they simply move on to other jobs (I imagine "Royal Nanny" is a hell of a thing to put on a resume), or do they get some kind of legacy/pension? A bit of both? Thank you!
As far as I know, as long as they’re still of working age and want to continue being a nanny then they just move on to a new family. I know one of the Cambridge’s staff used to work for a member of the Norwegian royal family so it’s certainly a good thing to have on your CV!!
