12 years is a hell of a long time. But when it’s filled with the magic Jordan Nobbs delivered during her time in North London, those twelve years fly by.
The stats speak for themselves. 270 appearances. 81 goals. Three league titles. Four FA cups. Five women’s league cups. An FA POTY and Fa Players’ Player of the Year. You name it, she’s won it.
But it’s deeper than trophies. She was there before everything. Before the WSL was professional, before tens of thousands came to see them, before women’s players became household names. Before all of that, Jordan Nobbs was putting on clinics in North London. Scoring worldies and leading her side to titles.
Injuries have interrupted the legacy in recent years. Her knees and ankles did their best to bring her down to earth. But every time she came back and reminded us of what we should have already known. You cannot stop a legend. Getting back in the England squad is the next obstacle you back her to hurdle.
A departure tinged with bittersweetness. The questions of what could have been. But when the dust settles, Gunners fans will be able to look back with full appreciation for the memories that remain. Where their club was when she joined them and where she leaves them are worlds apart. An incredible journey.
LEGEND❤️🤍
