Redraw of the full-body reference I did of Bernadine (& her dog Einstein) 11 years ago for my first TTRPG campaign, when I had first redesigned her from a fandom OC to a Pathfinder (and now D&D/BG3) one. Here's the original, for reference:

Two of my longtime OC’s, finally together. They’re both cute, helpful bisexuals who live in the forest and have some sort of healing powers.
The one on the left I made when I was 13 and was in much more of a weeaboo stage, so I want to rework her a lot. She’s a thief, but she’s had healing and Wind-element powers as well. She doesn’t know where her parents are, but lives with a wandering misfit group of orphans, with her serving as a surrogate older sister or mom to a lot of them. Her pet pygmy marmoset helps her steal– that element is inspired by Aladdin, and some of her outfit redesign was inspired somewhat by Razputin Aquato from Psychonauts. She falls in love easily, but she’s never been in a relationship.
The one on the right is Dr. Bernadine Schwartz, who I’ve written about a little before. She started off as a heterosexual/possibly bi RED Medic OC, but she eventually morphed into a Half-Elf Alchemist/Chirurgeon with elemental potion bombs, an ice knife, and a railgun. She’s also very happily married to her female best friend, Devlin. I think if I ever wrote her and my other OC interacting, they’d be very close friends. With her is her pet Cooshee, Einstein. Einstein’s a big protective baby who’s very attached to Bernadine, since they’ve known each other for a very long time.
Which Edition of D&D had the best design/artwork of a Cooshee?

Green Dog
BLINK DOG
LEVEL: 5 (out of 35 possible)
TYPE: Fey Beast
SIZE: Medium
ENVIRONMENT: Forests (Feywild)
SPECIAL POWERS and ABILITIES:
- Blink (They can rapidly teleport using blink, making them very hard to hit or escape.)
CHANGES FROM REAL D&D CREATURE I MADE: I just cut the annoying ONLY GOOD label from this awesome creature. Why destroy such a beautiful dog monster by turning it into a good alignment bore? Neutral is much better, of course they work a lot as hunting dogs for Wood Elves, Centaurs and Eladrin, but they WILL hunt humans that are lost in the feywild if they are given the chance.
VARIANTS: Sand Hunter & Cooshee
==============================
SAND HUNTER
LEVEL: 8 (out of 35 possible)
TYPE: Fey Beast
SIZE: Medium
ENVIRONMENT: Desert & Savannah (Feywild)
SPECIAL POWERS and ABILITIES:
- Blink (They can rapidly teleport using blink, making them very hard to hit or escape.)
- Triple Minds (These dogs are always born a trio, their three minds are linked together as if they are a single creature with three bodies.)
- Merge (The three dogs can merge together to take a much bigger and stronger form, they often do this when facing much bigger prey or enemies.)
- Berserk (If one of the three Sand Hunters dies the ones that are left enter a frenzy and gain a lot of strength and attacks.)
CHANGES FROM REAL D&D CREATURE I MADE: I loved the Sand Hunters from Sandstorm (3rd edition D&D product) so I used them here as an variant of Blink Dog of the deserts of the feywild, they are born with three bodies but sharing all one mind.
==============================
COOSHEE (also known as Cu Sith or Elven Dog)
LEVEL: 12 (out of 35 possible)
TYPE: Fey Beast
SIZE: Large
ENVIRONMENT: Forests (Feywild)
SPECIAL POWERS and ABILITIES:
- Blink (They can rapidly teleport using blink, making them very hard to hit or escape.)
- Nature’s Step (Everywhere the Cooshee moves it leaves a trail of vines and other plants that make movement for pursuing creatures difficult.)
- Rapid Growth (Cooshees drool increases the growth rate for plants and even temporarily increases the size of plant-based monsters.)
- Green Bite (When bitten by a Cooshee the victim will be torn apart by vines which grow inside its body, the vines should be removed fast or the victim will die.)
CHANGES FROM REAL D&D CREATURE I MADE: Cooshee are D&D’s version of the Cu Sith, so naturally I needed to use it. I enhanced their abilities and gave it plant based powers as it suits the green color of its fur.
