I found this vintage red Coors tray in a really special place run by a man named Johnnie -- it's called the Classical Gas Museum in New Mexico, right off the highway on the road to Taos. He collects old gas machines, vintage signs and everything and anything in between. His backyard is basically a not-junk junkyard of beautiful old things and Americana/memorabilia. Some of these things he's restored -- and others, he says, he hasn't. Because, according to him, not everything should be! I completely agree. When I found this tray, it has been left outside in the rain and snow for who knows how long. And it LOOKED LIKE IT. I cleaned and scoured off its rust, and sprayed it with a clear coat to protect from further deteriorating. But I think keeping it's old and weathered look is part of it's charm! #coors #vintage #vintagebeertray #beertray #coorstray #advertisingmemorabilis (at Albuquerque, New Mexico) https://www.instagram.com/p/CHpAzZYDq8a/?igshid=1ubacn401r9n
