Answered here in way too much length
🌿 ~ what's your favorite plant?
I love birch trees. The spooky ones. They're watching.
🎹 ~ do you play any instruments? if so, which one(s)?
None, I played a bit of guitar in middle school but that's about it
Angelystor's deciduous cousin Ph.Lunaladee
this looks like a scorpion tree
Went to this park a few days ago for the first time in over 20 years which is extra funny because it’s technically in walking distance from where I live. Long walk. But possible.
Anyway, the shrubs and bushes have been cleared out a lot since then. That may be a good thing because I have no clear enough memories of what grew there to know if they were invasive or not but I do know a lot of work has gone into clearing out invasive plants in the parks in our area. But, it’s also a bit sad because this park used to have tunnels of shrubs that looked like something out of a fantasy/adventure story and I absolutely would go through them and find cool spider webs and stuff.
The definitely good news is that the old, storm-shaped trees are still there and the boardwalk over the marshy areas has been rebuilt and is being maintained now.
