There's a lot of flavor and juicy meat in these Cheddar Merlot Burgers. What makes a regular burger taste even better is adding Merlot wine and cheddar cheese to it. Great for a barbecue in the backyard or dinner during the week.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/4 cup Merlot wine. 1/4 cup bread crumbs. 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese. 1/4 cup diced onions. 1/4 cup diced tomatoes. 1/4 cup chopped parsley. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 hamburger buns. Lettuce leaves. Sliced cheddar cheese optional. Ketchup and mustard optional.
Instructions: Ground beef, Merlot wine, bread crumbs, grated cheddar cheese, diced onions, diced tomatoes, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl. Mix everything together well. Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty. Set your grill or skillet on the stove to medium-high heat to get it ready. Put the burger patties on the grill or in a skillet. Cook for four to five minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them. For extra cheese, you can add a slice to each patty in the last minute of cooking and let it melt. Grill or pan-saute the hamburger buns for one minute, or until they get a little brown. Put lettuce leaves on the bottom bun of each burger, then a cooked patty on top of them. You can add ketchup and mustard if you want to. Add the other half of the bun on top. Give your Cheddar Merlot Burgers to people hot and enjoy!
