eternal sugar would mourn timekeeper's inability to maintain her feelings of satisfaction and true happiness, plus also humour her obsession with her own "other half" (croissant cookie - yes i'm aware she's actually timekeeper's past self)

mystic flour would criticise timekeeper's neglect of her duty in favour of her own very fleeting desires, as well as the futility of the TBD's job in maintaining timelines that are liable to ruin

Which. Never feels weird while being close to a main characters age. But if you stop and think about it. There’s no way I would’ve been able to do or handle any of this at 13. Or now for that matter or ever

They’re *children* and for some reason the only ones actually fighting the most powerful force the other side has ?? Gingerbrave is literally at the Republic. Like we have Wildberry and Crunchy and then we have. This middle schooler. Who isn’t even in school???

And probably has never been ??? Canon-wise he escaped the oven and then basically hasn’t had a break since. He’s spent his entire existence fighting.

I just think they should be allowed to be kids And not have to worry about this at all.

They had moments in the Hollyberry Kingdom they didn’t actually do much there story-wise there. But that’s it ?? If we don’t count the side stories and events these kids have never gotten a break.

Since it's established Shadow Milk's mind manipulation abilities work as long as the target is a cookie, it's likely possible for him to enter and (try to) toy with Timekeeper's mind in an attempt to take control of time. Which gives a LOT of opportunities to showcase the two's dynamic and maybe up the stakes a little more? I mean, it was shown in Ovenbreak's "Save the Future" story that Timekeeper isn't immune to falling into despair, which Shadow Milk might be able to exploit. There's also Timekeeper's relationship with/history being Croissant which has SO much angst potential if the writers are willing to go down that route. Then again, maybe it's best we don't get another Truthless Recluse situation - considering this is the literal God of Time we're talking about, and things look like they're already going downhill.
