i always get excited whenever a circle would invite me to their christmas party. as someone whose work is in a private setting, we don't do christmas parties; tatatlo lang kasi kaming nasa clinic team, so usually happy lunch or merienda lang kami tapos back to work na before christmas break.

sa college circle naman, depende na lang kung available lahat. dinner lang + short catch-ups, kasi may kanya-kanyang tradition na rin naman sila with their s/o's or with their other circles.

it's nice to be included and thought of whenever holiday parties started being planned out already. i have loved a lot of people in my short life (for now), but my high school circle will always be my greatest. we grew up, in all the aspects you could think of-- distance, lifestyles, different core groups, and beliefs. but instead of closing the chapter, we actively try to mend and weave our hearts with each other as we grow more. so, invites from them will always remind me that i belong to a group of people's significant part of their hearts.

nanay ko: hala, bakit siya isasama mo? sino-sino kayo?

tita: gaga, isasama ko sa prayer petition ko si Audrey nang magka-boyfriend na siya! bilis, isulat niyo na petition niyo. ako bahala sayo, 'nak!

tapos biglang sabi ba naman niya sakin, ibibigay na lang daw niya yung magiging boyfriend niya sakin pag di raw sila nag-work. na para bang secondhand luxury bag lang yan. (senior na siya, so senior na rin mga nagkakagusto sa kanya)
