“You don’t get to pretend you care when you’re the one who left,” Amanda’s voice rang loud and clear. She almost shook with rage, tears stinging in her eyes. “You don’t get to do this. You have no right to do this. You don’t get to have a say in what happens. You gave up that right when you walked away.”

“W-What are you talking about?” It wasn’t often that Amanda’s confidence was swept from under her feet. This was one of those rare moments she felt entirely and utterly vulnerable. She had been blindsided. Her confidence had taken a serious hit. “What do you mean ‘none of it was real’?”

“That may have worked on me before, but you’re not fooling me this time.” The raven haired female gave the other a pointed look. Her tone was rigid and void of emotion. “So, unless you have something of substances to say. I’m going to have to ask you to leave. There's certainly nothing I want to say to you.”
