saturday. their wedding was exactly three days away. THREE days, and avery was having nearly a panic attack. her wedding dress still was in the process of being tailored ( since she was a little bit on the short size), a few people still haven’t confirmed whether they’re coming or not, and she swears her bitchy step-sisters were trying to terrorize the wedding. though mateo claims they aren’t, she didn’t believe it one bit. “i’m telling you, theo, something’s going to go wrong. sophie and el, are going to--” 

“ave, relax. no one is trying to sabotage your wedding. tell her, micah.” mateo resorted, patting micah’s shoulder. he had just stopped by the apartment for a quick visit and came to avery who was practically having a meltdown. “tell her she’s just exaggerating.” he was sure he was putting micah in a difficult position between the two siblings, but perhaps, it had been a test to see who’s side micah would pick. he’s always liked micah, but he could never be too careful with any of avery’s boyfriends. the last few managed to break her heart. “mateo, you’re not the one getting married here. so of course, you don’t give two shits about it---” 

“please tell me i’m not the only one freaking out about telling my parents.” avery started, groaning as she plopped onto the bed. her and micah’s engagement was fairly recent, and of course it had brought excitement to her life. the only problem was telling her parents-- -the overprotective father who had wanted to keep his daughter near him at all times and her bitchy step-mother who had came into the picture unfortunately as well. though she did think she’d get the satisfaction of boasting about her engagement to her step-sisters-- who seemingly loved to throw everything into her face. not this time though, she wouldn’t allow it. now she had something over them that they didn’t have-- -a perfectly gorgeous fiance for her and her only.
