This 1929 converted church in Greenville, SC is also a book lover's dream, but I posted it a long time ago and it hasn't sold. This time, it's been on the market 165 days. It has 3bds, 5ba, 5,608sqft, and they're asking $4.45m (Zillow's est.: $3,952,300).
The owners of this church conversion went all-out bonkers, sparing no expense. And, that's why it's been on & off the market since 2021, with no takers. The 1907 building in Grand Haven, MI has 3bds, 3.5+ba, 8,012sqft. The price started at $2.85m and is down to $2.495m. It's been back on the market for 2 days.
The owners took on this enormous church to convert to a home. The 1923 church in Haddon Heights, NJ has 4bds, 5ba, 4,725sqft. They did the conversion in 2018 and have now put it on the market for $2.4m.
This is the weirdest church conversion I've ever seen. 1920 church in Franklinville, NY has 8bds, 4ba, 10,736sqft. Reduced $151k to $199k, on the market for 200 days. It looks like it has a great bell tower. Well, I found the before conversion photos and now I'm even more confused. Aha! Thanks to Odessa-Edmundson who recognized it. They have an Instagram called Magically Garcia. You can see more photos there, and it does say that it's for sale. They didn't get rid of the sanctuary, but they painted the ceiling black. And, there are some bathroom photos. https://www.instagram.com/magicallygarcia/
They were going for a Disney look and there is a photo of the bells.
