Key Provisions MahaRERA ( Regulation and Development) Act, 2016.

• The construction projects shall be compulsorily registered with RERA.

• The builder cannot sell parking spaces in the construction project

• Even if the flat purchase agreement was registered before RERA, the RERA has jurisdiction to adjudicate the case.

• Provisions of RERA prevails on the clauses of the flat purchase agreement.

• The one sided flat agreement with builder are not effective.
