Reading her reply, Jaebum suddenly felt like he was caught red-handed even though, he didn't really understand why. Did he really miss her? Sure, he definitely enjoyed her company and they hadn't seen each other in a while due to him traveling. She had also crossed his mind numerous times while he was out and about, taking pictures. It was usually always connected to things that he thought that she'd enjoy if she was there with him.

"But I'm not done yet!" He called out to her while he was still in the process of putting on the clothes she had handed him to try. At that moment, he wondered why exactly he thought it was a good idea to ask her to come along on a shopping trip. He tried to hurry up but that only lead to him getting tangled in the pants while he tried to get his second leg into them and before he was able to grab onto something, he had already fallen over and landed on the floor with a thud.

Jaebum was somewhat busy sorting the pictures he had taken throughout the day but upon hearing Jinah's request, he put his camera down and turned to her instead. "Sorry about that. All yours now." He said and offered her a soft smile. "What happened? You know I'm here if you want to vent. Want me to make you a cup of tea?"

"But I didn't even touch anything." He complained before pulling his hands back and shoving them into his pockets. If she wouldn't have said anything that he probably would've poked his finger into the whipped cream and eaten it because it just looked way too delicious not to try it. "Then hurry up, I want to try it."

Despite it still being summer, it had started to get a bit colder during the night. When Jaebum received a call from Jinah and her mentioning that she couldn't sleep, he had asked her if she wanted to come over and she agreed. Once she was at his place, he filled up a thermos bottle with tea and grabbed a blanket before leading her up to his little roof garden for some fresh air. After they had sat down, he tossed the blanket around his shoulders before holding up one side. "Come here." Once she had moved closer, he put his arm around her shoulders together with the blanket and pulled her towards him.
"You're so warm."
"Probably cause I was already in bed and wrapped up in the covers when you called me." He chuckled and gave her frame a gentle squeeze.

Jinah had shown up in front of Jaebum's door unannounced which quite surprised him and now she was sitting on the floor in front of the couch, leaning back against it while he was laying on top of the couch. He glanced at her every once in a while and since what they were watching didn't really interest him too much, he suddenly had an idea to mess with her. Sneakily bringing his hand closer to her ear, he gently brushed his fingertips along the rim and at first, Jinah didn't seem to notice that it was him but once she did, Jaebum couldn't help but start laughing when she told him to stop. "Took you long enough to notice." He chuckled and gave her a playful nudge. "I'm bored and I'm hungry. Want to go out and grab something to eat somewhere?"

"I do?" He replied, a little surprise audible in his voice. "I mean, that's a good thing, right?" A sheepish smile followed his words and he rubbed the back of his neck, not sure how to respond. Compliments and the likes were just something Jaebum never seemed to get used to and someone telling them that he made them happy was just among of those things. Honestly, he hardly ever thought about what he was doing when went out of his way to help or be there for a friend. He was definitely glad that Jinah felt that way because needless to say, he really enjoyed her company and it's probably safe to say that he too was happier when he was around her. "Thank you for telling me." He chuckled, still a bit awkward about her confession.
