I think....the direwolves/warging of all the stark kids is connected to the olg gods. Bran and jojen specifically, i think they were chosen by the crow (an agent of the old gods?) cause they have specific roles to play, esp bran

Bran has both, the warging and the greensight. Arya and Jon only the warging. Robb might have had the warging but we aren't sure. Sansa didn't develope any of these because Lady was killed too early. Rickon has at least the warging but could potentially have the greensight because as you've said he and Bran had the same dream.

Ok so I realised that what confuses me is the fact that the same term (”dreaming”) is used for different things - Jojen refers to his visions as “green dreams”, and Bran refers to warging as “wolf dreams” (which makes sense, because it’s the only way he can explain the experience to himself) but has also had dreams that were sent by the 3 eyed raven (not in ACoK maybe, but def the first dreams in AGoT). So thank you for the clarification! Now I’m curious to know if the greensight was sent to Bran and Jojen (and maybe Rickon) by the 3eyedraven, or if the raven saved Bran and Jojen because they had that ability in the first place...

The direwolves atacked the Reed because they are driven by their owners emotions. If Bran is angry his anger gets channelled into Summer. The same happens with the other direwolves and their owners. And I think it's later on said that Howland was at the island of the thousand faces or something like that, a magical place you'll learn more about. I think he had the greensight. Can't remember now. I'm rereading the books and I read this things you ask about today, haha.

Which means that Bran was still angry on an emotional level, even though he was telling Summer to back off... makes sense! Also Howland.... I’m so curious about him, I hope to meet him later on but I don’t think he has showed up until now has he... Btw you probably re-read this stuff because the 3eyedraven knew I would need some help ;)
