Charlie Vickers for ContentMode It seems like Halbrand and Galadriel serve as a foil for each other as she highlights things about his character and he does the same to her. In that sense, the dynamic between the two of you is just as important as your acting as individuals. Did you and Morfydd Clark have conversations about this before you even started to film?   Yes, Morfydd and I were lucky in that we were able to spend a lot of time together before we started filming. We did talk about the characters a lot, but I found it much more valuable for us to get to know each other before we started working together on film. We did a few auditions together, and then we were the first two people to arrive in New Zealand, so we spent a lot of time together as we prepared for the journey we were about to embark on. Again, I think it comes back to that subconscious side of the craft. I would hope that our interactions as individuals informed the story that you see when you watch the show.
