That was an awesome post. Do you invite men to join with you?
Yes! I would love to collaborate with men. They would need to come off anon, and our theme (pictures submitted) would have to be within community guidelines so they do not get removed.
If you are interested, please DM me, and we can discuss.
Thanks for the ask!!🥰🥰

Content Collaboration
In a post I made a few weeks ago, I wrote about Lankes' idea of Scapes -- a virtual space where library patrons can collaborate and share ideas. While at the time (as a relatively new MSLIS student), I was unfamiliar with the concept of content collaboration, this past week, I began to learn a little more about this topic.
Today, there are several ways for individuals to collaborate -- blogs, wikis, Google Drive, note-taking tools, and many more. Essentially, one has a choice of several different options based on the intended use.
One way that I would like to use content collaboration is through teacher blogging. While we focus a great deal on using content collaboration tools with students, why not also use such tools with teachers?
Just within the past month of having a tumblr account, I have learned so much through following other educators and librarians alike; however, I have no "in-person" connection with nearly all of people I follow on tumblr. This made me think: If a number of teachers within a school or district used the same blogging platform (whether it was tumblr or something else) just think of the level of collaboration that result?!
If I were working in a school, I would like to encourage my colleagues to use tumblr as a way to communicate with one another and share ideas. With my (admitted) limited experience in schools, I have found that often teachers' interactions with other staff (especially from different departments/grades) can be limited because of how busy the school day is. Through blogging, teachers would be able to keep in contact with one another more easily are share ideas of management techniques, information technologies, lesson plans, etc. that are working/have been successful in their classrooms.
Through this type of online communication, I believe that the sense of community among the school staff could be heightened.
Thoughts?
