We made cinnamon rolls as part of consumer science this week.
I’m trying to be super chill about homeschool this year. They do math and reading every day. They are practicing their instruments nearly every day. We are working other things in like science projects, a research paper, anatomy, and baking. I can’t do it all and neither can they. They are in THREE schools daily. It’s nuts!
DH has a job interview next week. Looks like he may also get offered a job in our school district that they are in the process of creating. We are talking about him going back to school to get his teaching license so he can have a legit career that also works for our family. He has subbed every day this week and the admin office is now just calling and requesting him which is super helpful as he doesn’t have to wait for a notification saying that there is a sub job available, and then have to respond in the middle of the night in order to have work the next day.
