Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for permanent Construction Labouers in the Quinte West area. Successful candidates must have prior manual labour experience with preference given to those with construction experience. This position will involve physical construction work and the use of various tools and equipment. Ideal candidates will be comfortable with physical work, be mechanically inclined, and have a positive attitude. Construction Labourers will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including loading and unloading work trailers at job-sites, reading blueprints for various projects, assisting with building wooden supports, pouring concrete, finishing concrete, and cleaning up the jobsite as jobs are completed. Rate of Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour to start
Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Shift Information: Day shifts, Monday through Friday with some overtime as required

Location: Quinte West, ON
Responsibilities:
- Unload tools, equipment, and supplies from work trailers at construction sites and reload products into trailers at the end of the day
- Maintain an organized worksite by keeping tools and equipment clean and organized
- Using hand tools and power tools, build concrete molds
- Read and reference blueprints when building and assembling molds and pouring concrete as per customer specifications
- Pour and finish concrete as per customer specifications
- Work in a safe manner by maintaining a clean and safe work space, by following safe lifting techniques, by using/operating tools and equipment safely, and by wearing all personal protective equipment
- Maintaining a high level of customer service when interacting with customers
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must have prior manual labour experience with preference given to those with construction experience
- Must be available to work full-time hours and be comfortable working day shifts and overtime as required
- Candidates must be comfortable with the physical aspect of a construction including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, walking, bending, crouching, etc. as required
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the main work office located in Quinte West with preference given to candidates with their own vehicle and driver's license
- Must have steel toed boots
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in various conditions (heat, rain, cold, etc.)
- Must be able to work in a team environment
