Mary’s Flat Sometime after midnight Closed for @constantvigilxnce
The tapping at the window startled Mary awake. She hadn’t been a very good sleeper in years, so it wasn’t a surprise that the noise startled her. It took her a moment to place the sound, but she eventually noticed the owl at her window. Getting out of bed with a sigh, she walked over to the window and opened it, recognizing the owl immediately, she took the letter from it’s leg and read it over quickly. Grabbing her quill, she quickly scrawled off a reply and sent it off with the owl, before she grabbed a sweater and pulled it on over her t-shirt she had been sleeping in, and made her way into her kitchen, trying not to yawn. She started the tea and grabbed her mediwitch bag and placed it on the kitchen table.
It couldn’t have been more then ten minutes since she had been woken up before she looked up to see the green flash in her fireplace before Alastor Moody stepped out looking not great. She sighed. Whatever he had been up to had clearly not gone according to whatever plan he had. “Come sit, I have tea on,” she told him, gesturing towards one of her kitchen chairs. She watched as he walked into the kitchen, and took a seat. She grimaced. “What happened?”
