Meant To Be;; ----- Sansa & Viserys
Walking down the tower stairs Sansa's finger tips brushed idly through Lady's hair as they went. They hated the tower of the Hand. Always so many steps. She had been back in the captial for nearly a week, and still she hated these stairs just as much as she ever had when she was a little girl. She remembered trying to race Lady up and down these stairs when she was younger. Lady always won.
Smiling down at her familiar as she nuzzled her face against Sansa's hip, she couldn't help but laugh at the wolves encouragement. She was just glad they had still risen early this morning. The heat was not nearly too sweltering this time of day. After having spent so much time in the North, they were still trying to get used to the heat of the South. Even though Winter was coming, the heat in the South was still more than they had anticipated. She felt worse for Lady though. Direwolves were not meant to be this far South.
That's why they were heading to the bay. To a secret alcove they remembered coming to when they were here last. It was a nice shady spot, the water lapping at the shoreline was clear and far from view of anyones prying eyes. Yes, she was Lady Sansa Stark, Daughter of King Rhaegar's Hand Eddard Stark, but today, she was going to bask in the waters and attempt to beat the heat in the only way she could think of.
As the reached the bottom of the tower, they slipped out quietly together, and headed for the kitchens. She knew the kitchen maids there will have been up long before them and they wouldn't question the Lady Sansa's early morning appearance.. Smiling, she gestured for Lady to wait for her outside the kitchens as she was much to large now to not make a fuss. She slipped into the Kitchens and after a few minutes, she emerged with a basket of food for them to share on their days adventure. “Let's go Lady, before someone wakes and sees us slipping out.” She said smirking, and together they slipped out the Keep.
It wasn't long before they reached the alcove, Lady bounding ahead of her, more than eager to soak her fur in the cold waters below. Laughing Sansa hurried along after her. Finding a large tree to place the basket over, she slipped from her dress, beneath it wearing a thin wrap that covered her torso be let her legs bare. For a moment, she felt exposed, but reminded herself, there was no one here that could see her besides Lady, so it made no difference. Shrugging, she quickly made her way down to the shoreline, to join Lady in the cool waters below.
