story time
okay this one is a doozy guys. so I was at work (Cinnabon) just doing Cinnabony things, and we were hella busy, and I was trying to help all the customers as quickly as possible. Someone orders a drink and I go to the back to get some whipped cream and as I open the fridge I notice there is one catchy tune playing on the radio. THEN I REALIZED. IT WAS TROYE MOTHER FUCKING SIVAN. TROYE. AS IN TROYE SIVAN MELLET, YEAH THAT ONE. Youth was playing on the radio. THE RADIO. I literally collapsed on the ground and I grabbed my chest with shock. I had never heard him on any local radio stations before and I didn’t know how to compose myself. Out of all times to first hear troye on the radio and it was at work. My boss sees me fall and asks if I’m okay. OF COURSE I WASNT. DID SHE NOT HEAR HIS BEAUTIFUL MEDLEY FILLING THE STORE??? Tears began welling up in my eyes and all I could mutter was “I just really like this song”. I mean it was true…. My heart is beating so fucking fast you guys, it felt like I had just ran a marathon. I finally pick my sorry ass up and try to compose myself as best as I could and grab the whipped cream as the chorus continues playing. I went over finished helping the customers and by then Selena Gomez was on the radio so maybe I could breathe just a little. LOL NOPE. My heart was still racing 100 miles per a minute and I wanted to pass out. My baby boy. My smol child. My father. He was on the radio. I was so proud and my heart continued aching, purely from how proud I was. Then for the next hour I had to try and explain to my boss who Troye was and why I almost had a stroke amongst all the cinnamon rolls and why he means so much to me. So basically I just wanted to say that I love Troye and I’m so happy for him and I’m just so fucking proud of him. Yes I heard you on the radio, but I couldn’t turn it up because I was too busy having a heart attack.
