Sad sight – Hidden away behind the floating museum in the floating fishing village in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam, was a graveyard for abandoned and sinking floating houses. These houses were no longer needed as people are now abandoning the villages to join their children,who are being schooled on the mainland. Floating museum – In one of the floating fishing villages in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam, there is a museum commemorating the history and culture of the area. Ironically that history and culture is dying as a result of UNESCO recognition, and the children and elderly being moved to the mainland.
