It’s been a long day. My forces and I tracked Jalal and made it just in time to surround him before he attempted to cross the Indus river. There is nothing better than a good old-fashioned battle to liven up a day. As expected, we decimated his army. Jalal managed to flee across the river. Although it angers me that he got away, I have to admit, his pure courage to even attempt such a feat impressed me. It’s a shame he is the enemy, he could have been quite the ally. I suppose we’ll have to deal with him another day.
