“If people want to hate Marinette/Ladybug because “she’s a stalker”, then that’s fine, but I dislike it when people try to use “LOOK HOW SHE TREATS CHAT NOIR!” as an excuse to dislike her. Similar to what I’ve read from a post, the main problem that I (along with couple others) have with Chat Noir isn’t that he’s needy, clingy or bases his entire self worth on Ladybug, but it’s that he’s never satisfied with that fact that he’s friends with Ladybug and are JUST friends. It isn’t enough that they are friends and he constantly makes it HER problem instead. Ladybug DOES love him. 

Maybe not romantically, but platonically and significantly, which can be just as great of love. He’s literally one of the most important people in Ladybug’s life. He’s the FIRST hero she worked with and it’s been shown sometimes that without him, Ladybug wouldn’t of gotten out of many battles as she did. Ladybug cares about Chat, but suddenly none of it will mean anything to him because she doesn’t love him the way that HE wants her to. If that’s not The Nice Guy act, then I don’t know what is!
