I really want to learn about other’s thsc OCs, so this ask is here just to ask you to rant about your thsc OCs so I can acquire the knowledge
Holy fuck okay WOW, AIGHT WELL I'VE GOT LIKE 64 OCS SO I THINK I'LL START WITH THE TOPPATS AND MAYBE AN EXTRA OR MORE IF I'M SPICY!
Brutus Dan Gerbreaker: He's not just a Toppat, he's a double agent working for the CCC. His job is to stay in the clan and keep Director Allison Lunetta updated on the human anomalies within the clan. Basically he's an observer but he takes part in heists from time to time, he's twenty-six years old, and has lived with Carina, Ramon and their three kids who were like siblings to him since he was eleven. He was a construction worker when he was a civilian at first.
He's Demisexual Bisexual so you can imagine what it was like for him in high-school. Bro has such RIZZ girl, guy or genderless would crush on him while his ass NEEDED to know them and have a close emotional relationship and not on the basis of first impressions, physical characteristics, etc. So instead of rejecting them he'd immediately play wing-man or let them down easy best he could without hurting their feelings.
There WAS one person who he had developed a crush on after spending so much time with him but sadly he's not around anymore since...the accident.
In high-school he actually LOVED musicals and was even in choir! He plays the electric guitar and the mandolin his dad made for him a long time ago!
I swear he's gotta be autistic considering he does leg bouncing in place, hand flapping and likes to sleep with a weighted blanket. He gets it from me.
Brutus is actually going to have his own ask-blog coming REAL soon. I've been typing up a whole Google Doc for it actually, I have several VERY close mutuals/friends who are helping me out with the story and making suggestions!
Morgana Séraphine Price: Currently Twenty-nine years old and joined during Wilford's era (when she was twenty-eight), she even painted his portrait! Before that time however, Morgana was a civilian and an artist, well...she wanted to become one that is. Her love of the arts started with little doodles which then became sketches and obviously this girl majored in art classes a LOT. It's rare but there are moments where Morgana has sung and was told she has the voice of an angel.
She and her brother Rupert have a strong bond, hell, he was very protective of her and would often get into fights with anyone who talked shit about her or broke her heart.
A lot of people found her intimidating because of her height, she's 8 feet and 6inches tall so due to this her mother got in contact with another family member who dabbles in some sort of magic. Thus on one of her birthdays Morgana was given the choker which alters her height down to 5 foot 6 inches.
Why did she turn to the Toppat life you ask? Well, she ran into a serious case of art block and it was BAD. Having only done a few commissions and mostly worked a job that paid decently but wasn't enjoyable at all, Morgana didn't want to bother anyone with her problems so she started to slowly turn to stealing money late at night from small stores to get by. That rush of adrenaline she got from doing something she normally would have NEVER don felt fucking amazing! Sure it even gave her sparks of inspiration to do a few small sketches or paintings but the more Morgana kept doing it soon she realized it'd get more dangerous the more she kept at it.
Eventually, during one of her final heists she ran into the Toppat Clan and was given the opportunity/choice to either join them or fly solo and keep fighting the waves to stay afloat. In the end, Morgana wanted to get away from the endless coming waves of life that kept trying to drown her.
She keeps in contact with her family but refuses to tell them the truth about what's happening or what she's really been up to.
Gayle Fiesta: Twenty-six years old and has been around the longest in the Toppat Clan, literally grew up in it after being adopted by their two moms. They had a father and child relationship with Randy Radman, the guy treated them as his own kid. (Keep in mind the leadership eras in my AU will be slightly shifted only a TINY bit). Gayle as of now is kind of like a custodian or janitor but gets the right to assign tasks to other Toppats to help take care of small things on the airship.
They don't like it when others ask about why they hide their eyes because it's a sensitive topic, a bit traumatic even. But know that only in one eye they are half blind.
Gayle is a pretty DAMN good DJ, the airship, thanks to Randy, has a little party room and bar where they get to blast and do some DJ mixing. They are also pretty good at singing!
They are very outgoing, hyperactive, a bit impulsive, probably autistic too I swear to Fucking GOD. I don't know HOW this happened but it's always one to two or three OCs that get the AUTISM from me SOMEHOW. Also they are a radical Dungeon Master.
Jinjer Quickdraw: She's twenty-eight years old and one of the new recruits, just like Brutus, she joined during Reginald's era which is the current era. Why she joined is a mystery to others but she'll always give a short brief answer, she felt like she didn't belong anywhere. In other words it was hard for her to fit in as she has chaotic abilities that center around cartoony behavior. But there is always more to a person's story.
She loves singing and playing her banjo during her free time. Another thing she LOVES is cooking and baking in the kitchen, she'll lend a hand to aid Scottie and Danny whenever she can just because she HATES sitting still. Girl needs to keep moving around with the amount of energy she has.
Jinjer has amnesia, she does have dreams that are more like faded memories trying to resurface but it's confusing for her. It's foggy. The only thing she recalls is a series of traumatic events that involve some sort of organization. Needles, white coats, screaming, tests, failures, trial and error...until she escaped. But she's buried those scary memories deep in her own mind. Somewhat.
Salem Ambrose Kingsley: A trans male vampire whose age is unknown, he's been making contracts with the Toppat clan since Dusty's era. Well, the same contract technically, it just needs to be renewed every few months. The deal is that Salem provides the clan with his inventions/weapons, call his automatons and other lovely creations old-fashioned but steam based creations of his are easy to fix and maintain. Sure he'll dabble or test out some more high-tech shit but it isn't entirely his style. All those gadgets and gizmos are so fucking high maintenance sometimes it makes him want to suck the asshole who made them dry of all their fucking blood.
Salem has two little mechanical friends, one is a snake and the other a bat. Similar to AI or might as well be such a thing, though both are used as his eyes and ears.
He plays the organ, is VERY dramatic and WILL make a dramatic entrance if he thinks it's a good time to do so, if you heard him sing, you'd be in love.
Salem doesn't make friends due to the whole situation of being immortal and growing attached to people as it would emotionally hurt him. Grief is something he'd rather not deal with. Romance is another thing he is not a fan of ever since long ago his parents tried to force him into arranged marriages. But that was when he was Scarlett.
Anna Victoria Kingsley: The younger sister to Salem and has quite a punch, that is to be expected of a vampire of course. She helped and supported her big brother where her parents did no such thing. They didn't focus much on forcing her into marriage yet but grew furious with her 'antics' which involved tearing up her dresses and having them remade into something more suitable for helping Salem with his work.
She plays the piano and goes HARD when she is angry, like this woman pours her EMOTIONS into the music.
Anna and Salem always agreed and disagreed, had little arguments but in the end they were all they had when stuck with their parents. Till Salem was sent to a doctor to get 'fixed'. Leaving poor Anna alone for quite some time.
She and her brother never officially joined the Toppat Clan until Reginald's reign, you'll get the full story about that soon. (:
Bonus OCs:
Director Allison Lunetta: She's forty-two years old and if you couldn't tell, the director of the facility Brutus works at. She's got ibuprofen in her pocket and a cup of coffee in her hand to get through the day, don't worry, she knows to eat and hydrate too. goddamn. She was handpicked by a higher up who also believed that human anomalies should not be contained but rather helped and given the means to control their powers allowing them to live among those who had no chaotic abilities/powers.
Funny thing is, Allison herself is a human anomaly.
Jake Maven: A twenty-five year old who went from law abiding citizen to joining the police force, he's got the law and every amendment memorized to every last little detail! Bro will remind you what's what and what each one MEANS. Do NOT twist it around or speak nonsense he will give the most disappointed glare known to man.
He also majored in robotics and engineering, Jake enjoys making lil sentient robots cus they funky and cute!
He also tends to chat it up with Dave Panpa as the two are good friends! He doesn't like wearing a uniform because something about it bothers him but he'll suck it up and wear it when it's go time.
Nova Summers: Goes by They/Them pronouns, they LOVE astronomy and astrophysics meaning they are obsessed with space and the stars. They actually have a Masters Degree in both! They only ever ramble on and on about their love for space and everything beyond the universe with Cody or their closest friends who try to keep up and listen. Which is hard because once they start..they TALK FAST.
Usually they're never seen smiling or being very expressive around those who aren't friends or close to them. Only Cody, Alex, Casey and Felix ever see them smile.
Richard "Ace" Hearst: Richard is forty-six years old and had joined the clan with his good friends Pablo and Pierre after leaving Monochrome City. He took to the clan like a fish to water, making friends with other clan members who he felt had the right vibes...but also those who thought they were tough shit. Immediately, he showed off his strength by beating Macbeth in a fight and REALLY wanted to fight Reginald's Right Hand Man but was stopped by Pablo and Pierre because dear God he has asserted his dominance enough!
He earned the nickname Ace from having gotten a good deal of aces when playing cards. He's just got such insane luck is a mystery why he hasn't won anyone's heart yet.
Condor Webb: He's exactly what he looks like, a shady bastard who does shady deals with people for a price. He's a human anomaly, shake his hand or let him do so and you'll regret it. This man can peer into your mind and take information about you or learn some deep dark secrets you never ever wanted out.
Money isn't always what you gotta pay to get what dirt you want on another person, it can be information for information. If you've got something he'd deem interesting or worthwhile of course. If not? Oh well, pay him in cash.
Diana Cyprian: Joined the military at age nineteen, she's currently twenty-three and argues with Charles about fighter jets being way cooler than silly little helicopters just to see him get all pissy and worked up. Oh? You think it's mean? Well get used to it because to HER it's hilarious!
She's a majorly confident person with great leadership skills which makes up for her rudeness I guess. Diana doesn't intend to make friends but it just kinda... happens and honestly that's okay.
Ground wise she's a great shooter but not a big fan of up close fighting.
