Q&A
Q: Who are you?
A: Doesn’t matter. I’m just an autistic thembo with a camera. Any pronouns are cool.
Q: What got you into urbex?
A: As a child, there was this very creepy old abandoned house on my school bus route. It was small, that’s the only way I know to say it. Too small for an adult or even most kids to live in it, let alone set foot on the balcony. Mom thought the owner of the house next door built it for his elderly mother, but I doubt that. The no trespassing signs everywhere made it especially weird. Wondering what the hell that house was for and why is what got me into documenting old buildings, and now here we are!
Q: What’s the coolest building you’ve ever explored?
A: Fairview School, which tragically collapsed recently. May it rest in peace.
