Questing in the Spires

I'm afraid this letter will take a while to reach you. It's been busy since term ended, and I'm traveling from Draenor to Draenor. I was in Stormwind for a few days. The alliancemedical Association hosted a talk on magical addictions by Amavia Hawkins. crysenjackson was there.
I received an offer to go and study fel magic the Iron Horde has taken up in the Tanaan Jungle, which is a major war zone at present. But I'd already done this back in Azeroth, over twenty year ago, so I explained that there are others who would appreciate this opportunity more. When the people making the offer pressed, I explained that I needed to move on, that I had work of my own, and that they'd have to formally conscript me if they wanted me to go. Since it's not wartime, they'd actually have to get one of my bosses, either Dean Marris or Provost vierdri, to sign off on it, and I don't think that's going to happen. It's kind of a relief to be able to say that. But be careful. The Alliance military wants warlocks of its own in Tanaan, and they are on the hunt.
At the moment, I'm in the new Draenor, in the Spires of Arak, collecting samples for Dr. ellisterthorley. In Shattrath in Outland, I found a talon priest who wanted to return to the Draenor of his youth, one who remembers the Spires of Arak pretty well. His analog is a high-ranking survivor of the rebellion, one of the shadow-worshiping Arakkoa in Talon Watch who are on good terms with both the Alliance and the Horde. That made it pretty easy for the Explorers League to do the paperwork to bring him across. We' ve been updating maps today, and should be ready to go east tomorrow.
