Concept Progression
Through experimenting with using after effects and creating my own surveillance, biometrical aesthetic, it has become clear to me that i definitely want to play around with projections in order to create a digital installation. this installation would involve a ‘digital realm’ in which the individual enters into, an alternate reality that represents the different space in which your data is collected. the digital atmosphere you enter into when online and using these platforms. to re-create this i would need to use projections and other forms of projection mapping, whilst digitally making animations and clips that i can project onto different surfaces. i would love to make it interactive, so the viewer actually gets involved into this space, however, i don’t know how doable that is at this point in terms of my skill set. I think it would be very effective to have an interactive digital realm as it would incorporate each individual who enters it, which fully represents how this alternate technological space works in real-time. this is something i need to think about
