#con suite

Our friends at the Homeless Network hosted our co-sponsored event, ABSOLUTE SILENCE.  For one hour on Saturday, the con suite turned into an outpost of the Diogenes Club:  tea, cake, companionship, but no talking.  Attendees enjoyed Mycroft-worthy eclairs, fruit tartlets, and ganache-topped chocolate truffle cake from Alon’s Bakery.  Thanks for the hospitality, @homelessnetwork-221bcon!

Yes! Well, actually, there will be six chat rooms, because why not.

But our Con Suite will be the place for general hanging out and meeting new friends with no set schedule of events, if that’s what you’re interested in.

Whether it’s your 1st convention season or your 30th, there are always some good dos and don’ts to keep in mind.

Con season has started! It’s time for the geek havens that grace us every year with guest stars, amazing cosplays, and people who get that when you talk about your Doctor, you’re not talking about a physician. With all this in mind, we should go through the dos and don’ts for conventions. This is meant to serve both as an introduction for first-timers and a refresher for the veterans.
