OR; Mike and Max are first year camp counselors who have to work together to make sure their kids don't get eaten by monsters and maybe fall in love just a little.

CARRY ON MY WAYWARD SON

May 6th, 2017: ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED!!

I am officially an amateur movie creator!!

Yes, the title reads “Carry On My Wayward Son,” but what you’re seeing here is actually my very first (and very smol) movie production way back when I was a wee little naive high schooler. An emotional take of the full story behind this project can be read HERE. 

Long story short, this school group project launched my tenacity and work ethic in animation, and kinda marks my debut. Way back in 2014, I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my art, until I won an animation award with this short music video film.

(I won’t be posting this film anywhere because it’s pretty embarrassing and means a lot to me, but if you really want to exploit how awful my high school animation skills during this time you can find that HERE. )

Of course now I can’t look at the artwork without cringing, but it’s a humbling little time capsule in my progression as an artist. And since this was my very first film, I used it it author my very first DVD!! Yes, it comes with a menu screen and everything down to the alternate version and even bonus material!!!  It only seemed right to author my very first dvd with my very first film.

This is an exciting checkpoint for me as a creator!!!
