I bought a DeLUX Seeker (M618XSD) vertical mouse!
I'm thoroughly in love with vertical mice after trying a wireless piece of shit from a generic brand, Tecknet, on Amazon, and I find it difficult to go back to normal shaped mice. To that end I started exploring mice with higher specs and found this guy on Aliexpress for $40. (Did you know you still don't have to eat any tariffs or additional fees on anything marked "Choice" on Ali, regardless of the spray-tanned guy's say so? It has to do with who it gets shipped out by and how in bulk processing.)
Do Corsair mice just fucking suck? At least, in regards to their mouse wheel/middle click mechanism?
My middle click (i.e. opening new tabs) still works fine so far, but I've been dealing with jittery scrolling with this RGB mouse for fucking years and it's been driving me nuts. It annoys me when browsing (I have to directly click on scroll bars/arrows/click-and-drag much more than I really would like), it annoys me when drawing (as my art tablet's non-tool zoom functionality is extremely finicky and limited and the tablet pen cannot zoom without using a program tool, so I use my mouse for things like zooming when not using program-specific tools), and it annoys me with some games that require scroll usage. I have to constantly clean the damn thing because it has so many little buttons and doohickies that, despite how much I clean my hands, always gets filled up with gunk. Compressed air hasn't helped so far, so I'll probably have to crack the whole thing open for a deep-clean... and hopefully not break anything, my hands have never been good for this kind of work. The black material that obscures some of the RGB light shell (i.e. around the ship sails emblem) has already started eroding away. I don't even use the left-side number buttons despite how much people say that they're basically mandatory for some games, and mashing them has gotten my ass kicked in games more often than not lmao.
I'll go ahead and ask this in order to check up on any responses if I'm unable to unfuck the scroll functionality: Does anybody have any recommendations for better computer mice? Things that last a long time, aren't so fragile, and that don't get gunk in their internal workings as easily?
Many thanks in advance!
