Anzo may hate people. He may hate vampires. But you know one thing that he doesn’t hate? Cats. And you know what he left at home in Las Vegas? Over a hundred stray cats that lived in his petite back yard. Yes, he has his main squeeze kitty-cat with him but heck, that ain’t enough. Anzo needed his fix, his feline fix that is. And so, after seeing a flier posted up in downtown Ikaika, the short shrimp was now standing in front of the half-fixed run-down barn full of felines. 

After having had spent a good half-a-day trying to figure out the whole situation, Blossom had learned that the formerly prestige Cat Sanctuary had been placed into an abandon building once the islands were recreated. Which god’s bright idea was it to just abandon it like this? The strays of the world island needed an in-between home to stay at..!

Finding the building was a pain in the ass and once in front of it-- she could see all the strays that were flooding around-- wait.. how were there strays? Was there even food here for them? Wait that was not the point..! The space was decent and there was a whole lot of work that needed to be done before it would be open for business.. Jeez!

Pushing the door open, she noticed that the place certainly had... dust.. and cobwebs.. Almost as if it had been abandoned for years? Was this really the lazy goddess’ handiwork? 

“Well.. this place is creepy..” This sanctuary is going to need a whole lot of work. Though.. It took her a bit to notice the tall.. man... in the corner trying to get this place set up. 

“’Ey, what’s happenin’ ya’ pussy-loving fuck.” Butch says this as he sits down beside Yu, who has been busy protecting a cat throughout all of this egg tossing chaos. 

He doesn’t remember everything. It’s all a hit or miss. But, he does remember enough. He remembers that there is this someone close to him. Someone that for once in his goat damn life, never seemed to be phased by him or how he acted. Never seemed to care when he showed up on his couch, eating a bowl of cereal, and hoped to just sit and chill with netflix. Butch had never had a friend like that before -- never had someone who strangely knew him so well, yet they hardly needed to speak a word to one another.

“Dude what the fuck this is gay GET OFF OF ME.”

Butch started nudging, trying with his full (human) force to get Yu off of him. Even going so far as trying to rip him off with his powers and fling him away. The fucker just wouldn’t let go. 

“THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU? WHY ARE YOU STUCK ON ME LIKE THIS?”

Yu wasn’t one to speak often, Butch knew that. He was the loud and invasive one in their friendship. And yet right now, Yu was all up in his grill and NOT GETTING THE FUCK OFF. FUCK. He felt anger, hate.. .. .. HE WAS READY TO KICK A CAT.

“.. .. .. Dude it’s been like.. .. fifteen minutes now.. .. fuckin’ stop it.. ..” Time passed so slowly, and honestly Butch had just given up trying to push Yu off. Instead now, taking it up on himself to walk the streets of Ikaika with the grey-haired guy clinging to his back and being dragged behind him. Every person along the sidewalk gave them gawking faces, which Butch met with a fist in the air and his middle finger out. 

“C’mon fuckin’ quit it. .. ..” 

“.. ..get off.”

“.. .. Yu.”
