Extremely EXCITED to introduce: 🎭 Life after the Masquerade🎭 launching 4th April and open to everyone. ✨What is this I hear you say⁉️ ✨I will be working and focusing on Personal Development & Mindset and helping you find that inner beauty 💖 because we all have it behind the masks we wear... 🎭 🎭Did you know that the colour of your mask represents your personality 🎭Black Masquerade Masks can symbolize many personality traits including elegance, authority, dignity, sophistication, mystery, and seduction.... So you can see that's my mask & I can be anyone I want underneath! 🎭I am a huge supporter for Epilepsy Action, as I battle with it every day and Compassion IT, which is a fantastic non-profit organisation which goes round to schools, halls & work places and their mission is to inspire daily compassionate actions and attitudes. 🌟So what's great about compassion? 🌟First off, what's the definition of compassion? Compassion is a "sympathetic consciousness of others' In other words, you recognise that someone is suffering, and you try to help. And "suffering" doesn't always mean someone is showing outward signs of feeling hurt. Nearly EVERY PERSON ON THE PLANET struggles with finding peace and happiness and is therefore suffering in some way or another. 🌟Here's another way of looking at compassion. It's empathy plus ACTION. Throughout your daily interactions, try putting yourself in another's shoes. Then think, "What can I do to help this person?" Often, a simple smile ☺️ can make a big impact! Here are a few examples of what compassion looks like: 🌟Smiling at a stranger 🌟Giving food to a homeless person 🌟Giving someone the benefit of the doubt 🌟Sending a quick "thinking of you" text message to a friend who is going through a tough time 🌟Having SELF-compassion and not beating yourself up for imperfection 🌟Simply being there for a friend I just want to help others feel special, and know their self-worth, that's my mission and I accept!!! Because we all our!!! 😍😍 So adjust your 👑's get on your 🦄 and let's DO THIS!!! 👊🏻👊🏻💪🏻💪🏻 #epilepsyaction #compassionit #lifeafterthemasquerade #personaldevelopment #mindset #beyourownboss
No Phone
I've been without my mobile phone since sunday, I stupidely left it in my friends pocket when she came to visit. It feels like not having an arm or something. Sorry to sound so dramatic but nearly everytime I leave a room I ask myself "have I got my phone with me...oh wait..." Finally getting it back tonight! There are so many times I've wanted to take pictures and post them on tumblr over the past few days and haven't be unable to! I could use my real camera but...I lost the memory card at christmas. I am ditzy!
I've shamfully given up on mission "get Isabelle to sleep in her cot during the day". I think I'll give it a try again in a few weeks. Getting her to sleep at night on her own without me rocking her took so many months. I know its going to be the same with nap times. But with me trying to get everything ready for weaning and the changes that that will bring to be honest I can't be bothered. Its not doing her any harm me cuddling her at nap times.
Today since it was a nice (cold) sunny day in England, I took Isabelle for a walk in the park. Both for her benefit and mine. I want to loose some extra weight, I think i've put a bit back on this month.
During my usual web browsing while Isabelle was napping I came across this website http://compassionit.com. Basically you purchase a braclet and it has a dark side and light side. Everyday you start off wearing the dark side, the aim is that everyday for a year you do a selfless act and then change the braclet to the lighter side. I though this was a really cool idea and would help influence me to be a nicer and less selfish person.
