Like when you wrote Stars!Tommy and Wilbur talking before their execution. As a reader, their fear and helplessness is so apparent. I can practically feel it myself. But they want to make up before they die. It's such a raw moment for them. They want to clear the air before it's too late. That just makes me feel so helpless to read them. Like I just want to give them a hug!

Or in Honey and Tangerines. How so many responsibilities were forced onto Tommy at such a young age to compensate for his mother. How he waits for Phil or Wilbur to call and for everything to be okay again. It's so heartbreaking.

Not just sad moments either. I love the contentment of crimeboys laying in the sunlight in 'cheeks in high color, overripe peaches.' It makes me happy to see them just being brothers. Tommy connecting the dots from Wilbur's freckles is adorable!

You deserve all the praise and kudos I love your writing so much!!

I DO actually get emotional while writing but not in the moments you mentioned. usually I'm pretty I guess... detached when I write sad things or happy moments. not detached in a bad way just like I'm a third person POV. watching a movie type beat even though I'm the one controlling the characters.

however, I do get emotional when I write fights

I get insanely invested when I write huge arguments in fics. especially if they're ones I've had planned for a while. like chapter 19 of stars. I literally set aside my entire evening to write that fight. I remember driving home from my job at the time, literally buzzing in my seat as I pictured what specific lines were going to be. then I got so invested, my heart was pounding in my chest while I wrote it. it's such an adrenaline rush, I love it so much. it's one of my favorite parts of writing.

but I'm so glad all the other moments can be felt so intensely by my readers! I love finding new ways to describe emotions in a way that the readers can connect with. I try to tie them to physical sensations because I always think that gets the point across the best.

Compass was a test, for myself. to prove that i could hide under a pseudonym and not be caught out. not make a mistake, again, and have my identity be compromised prematurely. i have lied, to throw you off the scent, but never as Compass, only as a compass. the screenshot wasnt faked, but there is something fake about it. good luck finding me.
