This is Fludo the Blue Hippo and Maria the Purple Hippo originally from the planet RainMoon but moved to Pleasure Paradise to enjoy a peaceful retirement there. They both share Papa Bear and Leila’s intense dislike of Dragons, especially Medievil Dragons and will angrily fight them at the drop of a hat. So i know the Brigadier is an important character that helped the doctor through regenerations after regenerations

But I feel like the modern day audience doesn't know who he is and Doctor Who keep bringing him up

I was so sad and happy when 11 found out he died, it was at a pivotal moment, he needed the push and we find out that there was always a drink poured for him just in case

Now every time there's a possibility to have a character come back it's always him and to me it feels forced and insincere

I'm not saying it's a bad thing, I'm not because I really liked Alistair but I'm starting to feel as though he's a show pony

I think that they could've and should've used Sarah Jane in some of them because she ment so much to the old and new audience. Luke could tell the doctor the news or they could say she went off travelling

Or mention Adric, show Ace or Susan

Maybe have the Doctor meet up with any one of them for tea before its too late
