The permafrost below us is further away from our feet now. It's melting, displacing soil and trees and people. Walking this land, season after season, you notice the small changes telling you of bigger ones taking place. And then the big changes, like glaciers creeping back into their mountains and a fall season that became an actual season after lifetimes of birch trees just shrugging golden for a week, those big changes gain an uncomfortable potency. Don't tell me climate change isn't real. And don't tell me we can't do something about it. My hometown of #Anchorage joined the #compactofmayors to do its part in reducing greenhouse emissions and find solutions. In a state that voted red, it's thrilling to see us woke enough to buck the stay-blind trend, take responsibility, and ACT. πβοΈπβοΈπ . . . @natronak and Rylan in #bonellis #toiledays at #wrangellstelias / #nabesna ; #fashiondesign #textiledesign #inclusive and #responsiblefashion
