Artqueer

“Art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable.”

an inclusive community term for Queers pushing against forced amatonormativity through exploration of complex, contradictory, and atypical gender, presentation, attraction, and/or relationships. respectability and presentability to the "normal"s are to be null and void. Artqueer is open to and accepting of all good faith queer labels and reclaimed transX terms, such as but not limited to:

chronosians

transspecies

xenogenders

neopronouns

he/him lesbians, she/her turians

lesboys, turigirls

straightbians, straighturians

mspec lesbians + turians

objectum, POSIC

ficto-attraction

Artqueer is also innately sex positive and Safe Sane Consensual (SSC) kink friendly. Queer history is vital to know, understand, and share amongst ourselves and others who are willing to learn; which includes sex and sexuality.

what Artqueer does not include, however, is radqueer, xenosatanist, and proship/profiction ideals or people who support those ideals. romanticism, fetishization, and de-stigma of abuse and sexual violence has never been and never will be Queer. labels and terms promoting pedophilia, zoophilia, necrophilia, incest, and sexual violence are inherently anti Artqueer.
