‘ nanu? ’
she calls out, quietly. closing the door behind her as she entered completely into the room. the station had an eerie feel to it, a sensation she would typically enjoy if it wasn’t filled in a place to referred to as home. the dial tone being the most audible thing in the room her immediately drift her attention to his desk.
gently, she steps closer to the desk, placing the receiver back into it’s home, the room had return back to complete silence. the receiver was cold. how long was he like this? she wondered. eyes drift up to stare at his face. feelings of dread and grief overcome her, but she doesn’t exactly know why. all she understands is that she doesn’t like seeing him like this.
she stares at his hands, placing her hand carefully on his, as a sign of comfort. she always enjoyed physical displays of affection when she wasn’t feeling well, perhaps nanu will too?
