hey just a real quick question about Episode 20: did Higglemas say that Gray had āmortal assistance,ā orĀ āmortal assistantsā with emphasis on the plural? because yeah, the Commodore has definitely thrown in his lot with the demons, but he might not be the only one (and we also donāt know if he was even at the school in time to help with the office break in)
for the record, the full section of dialogue is:
He was able to make it past my wards because he had mortalĀ [assistants/assistance?]. They were masked, disguised, so I don't know who, butā¦ someone at this school helped him get through my wards and past the doors. And even then, they shouldnāt have been able to make it through. They had some kind of egis that allowed them.
I heard it asĀ āassistanceā while listening to the first time, and I still thinkĀ āassistanceā is more likely because the subsequentĀ āsomeoneā wording sort of implies just one person, but I just now noticed that the transcript saidĀ āassistants.ā even if it really isĀ āassistance,ā that doesnāt necessarily rule out multiple traitors, so Iām very terrified and will likely continue to be terrified no matter how much the Commodore gets his ass handed to him. thoughts?
