While this issue (placed in part through Benn Dunnington's editorial criticising the coverage of some other computer magazines) was still trying to give away a Commodore Plus/4, it was much more impressed with the upcoming Commodore 128 and LCD portable. It noted the Atari ST, but wondered if Atari could "even survive long enough to bring these products to market," reminded everyone Jack Tramiel "makes promises easily, and keeps them with difficulty", and was willing to wait for the "AMIGA-MACHINE".

Behold, another prototype system that never was: the Commodore LCD.  However, this one actually made it to the January 1985 Consumer Electronics Show.  Imagine how the world would look if that machine actually made it to production.
