Commocean | Shiloh & Miles

The sky was red for a while now and sure, maybe Shiloh should be concerned, she had other things to worry about. She had a job to do, errands to run, Shiloh just didn’t have time to worry about the outside world unless it grabbed her by the shoulders and said look at me. It was probably a fire. Weird moment in the season to happen but definitely not impossible. Not to mention the state of the environment... see this was why she didn’t want to fall into the trap of overworrying. It didn’t work out for anyone. She wouldn’t be able to enjoy life if she worried about things she couldn’t control.
She was making her weekly trip to the fish market when she noticed some people drawn to the sea, staring at it. Glancing at her phone, she figured she had time to go and see. Curiosity got the best of her. As she got closer she noticed there was stuff littered on the sand. Thinking it was actual trash, she came close, only realizing it was mostly seaweed but there was an occasional piece of trash. I mean what else would you call what looked like a vase stuck in the sand. She was almost going to reach down and grab it when she heard someone scream.
“What is that!”
Shiloh leaned over to see. It looked like a lobster but then the guy next to her kicked it back into the ocean. That was mean. As she scanned the area, her eyes picked up on someone she knew. Momentarily, she forgot about the stuff coming in from the ocean and got up and walked to Miles. “Miles!” She called out to him to get his attention. She smiled as he turned around. “How’ve you been?”
