completely useless and random headcanons
he puts chocolate bars in the fridge because they are 100% better cold.
he's got a camera on his door (literally on it. visual picture is off but it detects the movement of the door if it opens) and on the windows. think one of those ring ones except not so obvious. very tiny thing. there's one hidden inside of his flat too that faces the door. If the door or windows open, he gets an alert. If the camera inside his flat detects movement, he gets an alert. Even if someone was to somehow manage to disconnect them, etc .. too bad. so sad. he's already seen you. it's quick, it's effective and it's technology that allows him to not have to go all home alone every time he leaves the house.
they don't actually ever say it in the show but i have no fucking life sometimes when i can't sleep and i tracked down all of his furniture inside his flat and uh because of that ... my third headcanon here is that he likes furniture from wayfair and ikea. very simplistic. very spartanish. but still nice.

A new Start - Again
So I had my wake up call over the weekend with my terrible race and I had my emotions. We still had a blast that day, we still hiked and laughed and made love on a glacier and we both re-affirmed our goals, for ourselves and for ourselves as a couple.
This new beginning began yesterday with a 6+ mile hike with our puppies. I felt like I’m ready to get my training back up to where it should have been Saturday, and then go beyond! I’m beginning my C210K all over tomorrow. It’s a bit below where I am conditioning wise, but I feel like I need to work on my foundation and make it much stronger. I’m re-committing to daily core workouts and I’m choosing more difficult mountain bike trails to ride, instead of keeping to the easy trails or inside on the trainer. I have a lot of technical skills to learn and need to gain some strength on hill climbs. As far as swimming - just keep swimming... At least that part of my race went well ;)
